Restoring a backup

Restoring an older copy of your database is a manual process in order to avoid overwriting existing data by mistake. And should only be done if there are no other solutions to recover the data or if it was planned after testing. The only files that need to be restores are terrdb and terrdb2, all other files can be restored by reinstalling the application from the Downloads section.

How to restore a backup

  • Locate the most recent backup by clicking on the Folder menu under the Database and Backup grouping. Each backup create a folder with the time and date.
  • Copy the two files in the backup folder to where your live files are located. By default it is c:\multi-terr but you can see the path at the bottom left section of the application
