IMPORTANT NOTE: The last few versions of Dropbox has been detecting conflicts even when a user is working alone. WE NO LONGER RECOMMEND USING DROPBOX WITH MULTI-TERR
Here are the steps on how can you share your territories on Dropbox:
- Each user that have access to the database must have Multi-Terr installed on their computer
- Create a folder in Dropbox (you must have a Dropbox account)
- Share your Dropbox folder with other users (See Dropbox help on how to proceed)
- (if it is a new database, skip this step) Copy the files terrdb.accdb and terrdb2.accdb into the Dropbox folder
- From the menu [File, Database, Location] select the Dropbox folder (Note: Each user must complete step 5)
